Botswana is a landlocked country in the center of Southern Africa. Its capital city is Gaborone and it borders South Africa to the south, Zimbabwe to the northeast, and Namibia to the west and north.

博茨瓦纳是一个位于非洲南部中心的内陆国家。博茨瓦纳首都是哈博罗内，且该国南接南非，东北与津巴布韦接壤，西和北与纳米比亚接壤。

National Flag 国旗

Botswana's national flag has a light blue background with a black horizontal stripe through the middle, the black horizontal stripe has a white border outlining its top and bottom.

博茨瓦纳国旗底色是浅蓝色，国旗中间有黑色水平条纹，这条纹上下有白色边框。

The light blue color on the flag represents the sky and water, black and white symbolize the racial harmony of the country's people. They are also imitation of the color of the Zebra, the national animal of the country.

国旗上的浅蓝色代表水和天空，黑色和白色代表国家人民的种族和谐，同时也是模仿斑马的颜色，斑马是这个国家的国家动物。

Morula is the national tree of Botswana, Kgori (Kori bustard) is its national bird, Sengaparile (Harpagophytum procumbens) is its national flower.

National Anthem 国歌

The national anthem of Botswana is "Fatshe leno larona" meaning "Blessed be this noble land."

Economy 经济

Botswana is rich in natural mineral resources. It is among the world's largest producers of diamonds. Minerals such as diamonds, copper, and nickel generate most of the government revenue.

The currency used in Botswana is Botswana Pula.

Gaborone is the capital city of Botswana, it is the site of government offices, parliament buildings etc. The University of Botswana, national museum and art gallery ar ealso in this city.
